Do I need an ๐ Premium subscription to use FuturePost?+
No. FuturePost works with regular and Premium ๐ accounts. We use ๐'s OAuth API, which is available on all accounts.
Can I schedule posts on a Free account?+
Yes, the Free plan includes 15 credits/month, enough for ~15 regular posts. Link posts, threads, polls, and the media gallery require a paid plan.
What counts as a link post?+
Any tweet whose content contains a URL (anything matching
https://... or http://...). Quote tweets don't count, the embedded tweet URL is rendered as a card.Why are link posts 15ร more expensive?+
๐ charges roughly 13ร more on the API for posts containing URLs. We pad that to 15ร to keep some margin and pass through the real cost rather than hiding it in a higher base price. Read more about credits.
Can I get a refund if I cancel mid-month?+
We do refunds on a case-by-case basis for unused portions of recent charges. Email support@futurepost.ai and we'll sort it out.
What happens to my data if I downgrade?+
Nothing is deleted. Extra connected accounts and additional teams just get hidden until you upgrade again. Drafts, scheduled posts, gallery items, and automations are preserved exactly as they were.
Can I connect multiple ๐ accounts?+
Starter is 1 account, Pro is up to 5, Team is unlimited. Connect new accounts under Settings โ Teams โ Accounts.
Does FuturePost work with X Communities or ๐ Premium-only features?+
Community posting is on the roadmap. Premium-only features like long tweets (over 280 characters) work if the connected ๐ account has Premium. We send the full text and ๐ handles the expansion.
How do I delete a scheduled post?+
Open the draft, click the menu (โขโขโข), and select Delete. Scheduled posts also refund their credits when deleted before publishing.
Can I edit a tweet after it's been published?+
Not through FuturePost, ๐'s edit functionality requires Premium and works only inside ๐ itself within a short window after posting.
Does the browser extension cost extra?+
No. It's free for every FuturePost account, including Free.
I have an AlloPass NFT, what do I get?+
Holding an AlloPass NFT gives you Pro automatically. We check this every time you open the dashboard. If you sell the NFT, the perk is removed on your next visit.
Is there an affiliate program?+
Yes, every account has a referral link in Settings โ Affiliate. You'll earn 10% commission on referred subscriptions for the first 12 months.
Where are you based, and where is data stored?+
FuturePost is built by a small team in Europe. Data is stored on servers in Europe (PostgreSQL + S3-compatible object storage). Stripe handles billing and complies with EU privacy regulations.
