Unfollow on X in bulk, without getting limited
X has no bulk unfollow button. This adds one, inside the tab you are already signed into, with filters for the accounts that stopped posting and pacing that keeps you under X's limits.

Select hundreds of accounts and let the batch run. X gives you no way to do this; the extension is the missing button.
Filter by who went quiet
Inactive for anything from a week to five years, above or below a follower count, verified or not, or based in a particular place.
Remove followers
X's own Remove this follower, in bulk. No block, no notification, useful for clearing out bot followers.
Protect who matters
Keep mutuals with one switch, and protect individual accounts before a batch runs so a filter cannot take them.
Paced to stay safe
5 to 12 seconds between actions, a cooldown every 45, and a hard stop at 400 a day. Speed is what gets accounts blocked.

How it works

Install it and open x.com
It appears beside your other extensions. Open the panel from any X page.

It reads who you follow
Your following list loads with each account's last post date, follower count, and whether they follow you back. This happens in your browser.

Filter and sort down to a set
Inactive for a year, under 500 followers, oldest posts first. Turn on Protect mutuals, and protect anyone individually you want kept.

Run the batch
It paces every action, pauses on schedule, and stops at 400 for the day. Close the panel if you like; it carries on.
Why it is slower than it could be
We could unfollow a thousand accounts in ten minutes. It would also get a good number of those accounts write-blocked, because rate is the thing X's automation detection actually watches.
So the extension waits 5 to 12 seconds between actions with randomised timing, pauses 5 to 8 minutes after every 45, and stops at 400 in a day. A few thousand accounts takes a few sessions. That is the honest trade, and it is the right one.

Is the unfollow extension free?+
Yes. Bulk unfollow, follower removal, the inactivity filters and the sorting are free, and you do not need a Futurepost account to use them. We charge for scheduling and analytics on the web app, not for the extension.
Does it need my X password?+
No. It works inside the x.com tab you are already signed into, using your existing session. There is no password to give us and no server that holds a key to your account.
Will it get my account limited?+
It is built specifically to avoid that. Actions are spaced 5 to 12 seconds apart with randomised timing, it pauses for 5 to 8 minutes after every 45 actions, and it stops at 400 actions in a day, which is the commonly reported ceiling for a standard account.
How many people can I unfollow per day?+
The extension caps you at 400 actions a day, because follows and unfollows draw on the same daily allowance on X. Clearing a few thousand accounts takes several sessions across a few days, which is the safe pace rather than a limitation of the tool.
Which browsers does it work in?+
Chrome, Edge, Brave and Opera. They all install it from the Chrome Web Store listing.
Can I stop it partway through?+
Yes. There is a Stop button on the running batch, and closing the panel does not lose your progress. The work continues in the background while your browser is open.
Does it upload my following list anywhere?+
The unfollowing itself happens entirely in your browser. If you connect a Futurepost account, your following list can be pushed up so the web dashboard can show a location breakdown; without an account, nothing about your follow graph leaves your machine.
